I am pleased to report that we received word a few minutes ago that S. 1755 has passed the Senate by unanimous consent.

Our effort now shifts toward having the Senate bill referred to the House Committee on Homeland Security rather than to the Energy and Commerce Committee. There’s no grassroots effort required for this – it’s essentially parliamentary. We’ll keep you posted.
