Jim,

Sorry to take so long to get back to you.  I was out ill the end of last week.

We have not really gotten down to these specifics yet.  The Texterity demo  is scheduled here at HQ this week –weather permitting.  It was cancelled last week due to weather.  We’ll ask these questions for you when their representative is here but I would assume whatever vendor we pick we will use for both Web and mobile platforms.

Harold

Harold,

If we were to use Texterity I would assume, then, that we would use both their web browser and their mobile platform services.  Would doing this involve added cost?

Also, please let me know if there is a practical way to add programmed voice translation to an online service.  If there is, about what would it cost?

Tnx,

Jim

Subject: [arrl-odv:19624] Texterity Mobile Demo

Hi,

I received quite a bit of feedback that the Texterity QST digitization demo did not work on mobile platforms.  I had Katie Glass check with Texterity and they sent us a second link that is to be used specifically for mobile platforms.  The first link that they sent us was for Web browsers.  Katie  checked the mobile link here and it works fine on the iPad and iTouch.  If you have a mobile device, please check this for us and let Katie and I know how it performs and looks.
