The NFCC president, with whom I spoke on the phone today, has signed the new MOU on behalf of his organization. We don't have the fully-executed document in hand yet, but I understand it is in the mail to ARRL HQ. This afternoon the president of the NFCC distributed the MOU document to the NFCC's constituent organizations. It is my understanding that this is the first time they have been made aware of the document's contents. I wouldn't be surprised if there's some push-back from coordinators who are not aware of the FCC's position on the multiple coordinator issue. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the push-back comes our way and not just in the direction of the NFCC. In case your inbox lights up with messages from coordinators in your Division, you may want to review ODV:21552l. Dave's backgrounder memo was attached to it. A relevant memo from Chris was attached to ODV:20636. The key fact is this: It's the FCC who said there can be more than one frequency coordinator for a given band in a given geographical area. It is not merely the ARRL's say-so. It is also not something new, though it hasn't been given much attention until recently. The ARRL's web site is being updated today to link to the NFCC's new web site. 73 - Kay N3KN
