I see no mention in the Minutes of consideration of the IT Strategic Planning Committee. Regarding agenda #9.1.3, the EC had an extended discussion of the pros and cons of Director Rehman’s original proposal and decided to recommend something a bit different. It’s very important to emphasize that this is only a recommendation from the Executive Committee that the Board consider soliciting input from the membership on the issue. That’s all. It is not a proposal that the Board adopt data privileges for Techs and Novices on 15 meters as an objective, and it is most definitely not an ARRL proposal to the FCC.
