When are we going to have electronic filing for our VE teams in the field? What is the status of the supposed beta testing? This has been an ongoing project that commenced when I was P&SC chair. I haven't seen an update in quite a while.
David - There was a brief discussion about VE software at the last A&F meeting in January. The minutes say: Mr. Frenaye also inquired about the VE software updates. Mr. Keane responded that there are two legacy concerns in this area. We are in testing on one of the modules for AIS and that module will be moved off the Siebel system as soon as testing is completed. I have to say that I should have followed up better in the conversation at the A&F meeting because it still isn't clear to me what the schedule or priority is. I thought we had contracted with a 3rd party to do the work, and then I later heard that the 3rd party vendor originally selected was not everything we had hoped for. I think the plan is for an in-house solution now but TomG or Barry would know best.
