Dear Officers, Directors and Vice Directors of the ARRL:

Please see the two attached documents: the first official notice of the 2017 Second Meeting of the Board of Directors, and an accommodation sheet to reserve your hotel room. Please fill out the form and return to me at your earliest convenience (include any special room requests.)

Please note, due to a booking error on the Marriott Windsor’s part, this meeting will be held at the Marriott Farmington. (A newly hired catering manager at the Marriott Windsor contracted this weekend to another company back in January, not realizing that this weekend was being held for the ARRL. They were extremely apologetic but obligated to honor the contract.)

Transportation: due to its location, this  Marriott property does not offer shuttle service from the airport; therefore, please use an Uber or taxi cab for transport from the airport to the hotel and submit the receipt with your reimbursement form following the meeting. (Please note, Uber is significantly less expensive than a traditional taxi cab so we kindly suggest you use their service. If you have any questions on how to use Uber, please contact me directly for assistance.) We also strongly encourage you to communicate with each other regarding arrival times, so that you may share transportation wherever possible.

The Marriott Farmington is a renovated property, and features a restaurant, pub, sushi bar and Starbucks, as well as fitness room, indoor and outdoor pools, and walking trail. (As per ARRL policy, in addition to providing a mid-morning beverage break, full lunch, afternoon snack break, reception and dinner, the League will also cover the cost of your breakfast in full.
