Of course, he blames ARRL for his stupidity.
Jim, we are used to this. A ham involved in an antenna case believes that (1) his case is the most important one that has ever come down the pike; (2) ARRL owes him a complete defense, including lawyers; (3) if the case goes down badly, it was not due to any failure of preparation or any action taken by the ham himself, but instead by bad advice he got from ARRL or ARRL's failure to provide him a complete defense, including lawyers, and finally (5) PRB-1 should have allowed him or her to put up whatever he or she desires, in any configuration, regardless of local ordinances. This is especially true in cases where no permit has been sought or received at all. Finally, after all is lost, the ham blames ARRL because PRB-1 is useless because it doesn't permit the ham to put up whatever he or she wants. Chris
