The emptying of the queue cannot be computed because we don't know the input rate. You must assume an input in order to be able to solve the equation. Also, something must be assumed about the nature of the material being processed--probably that it doesn't get more or less computationally demanding (technically, that it is stationary).

My members send me mail, and my SMs send me mail that their members send to them. The current logbook queue status shows a net change of the currently processing log uploaded (UTC) of -26 minutes in a span of 12 hours. The ten hours between the start of the status report, and the conclusion of the report were all 11 days behind the current date. Has anyone computed when the actual time of the emptying of that queue will occur? I believe that we owe our members better than they are getting. I don't have the answers; do any of you?
