It is planned to use this document in public notices advertising this job opening resulting from the retirement of CEO David Sumner, K1ZZ. The CEOSC has also done some research on our current CEO's compensation and benefits package and relocation expenses in order to prepare an appropriate, board-approved, package to be used in candidate negotiations. Both the job description and financial package require ARRL board approval. It is planned to vote on the job description at our January 2014 board meeting. The financial package should be approved before the CEO search is started. The committee is open to questions and suggestions from the other 10 directors, the volunteer officers, and the vice directors. As long as there is no discussion of specific dollar costs or potential candidates, the CEOSC, President Craigie, and CEO Sumner believe this discussion can be held on the ODV reflector.
