I have a little over 300 stations in the log so far, some CW and PSK31 but mostly phone. I’ve worked W100AW on phone and CW, W1AW/4 and W1AW/8 on phone. From the Board and HQ Staff I’ve worked K1ZZ (and KA1ZD), WJ1B, W3IZ, K5UR, K5UZ, K0CA, N2YBB, NN1N, WY7FD (and WY7KRA). Worked past Pacific Division Director W6DPD. If I left anybody out, please excuse me. I don’t have my log on this computer. I’ve heard very positive comments about the ARRL and the operating events on the air and on Facebook.
It occurred to me yesterday that I should call CQ in the Technician phone segment on 10 meters. I didn’t get much business but it’s the principle of the thing and I’ll do it again. I’m also checking the band chart to be sure I’m well within the General segment before starting a run. I have offered to work locals on 2m simplex. No takers yet.
A station calling CQ from Virginia doesn’t usually provoke much of a pile-up. It’s fun to have one to dig into.
