I spoke with Dave this evening. He told me he had reached the decision a couple of days ago. He has been very busy at work and found himself dreading to look at his RAC email because he was so far behind. So he realized that at this point in his life it was best to step aside so as not to be an obstacle.

I attended a convention with Dave in Halifax last August. From sitting in on his forum I know how much he was trying to accomplish, and the high standards he had set for himself.

He's young enough that we may well get him back in a few years.
