To facilitate the on-going project to upgrade the ARRL network it will be necessary to take the network off line overnight, beginning at midnight (EDT), Friday May 2^nd. The network will be off line until approximately 8 am Saturday morning (0400 to 1200 UTC on Saturday, May 3rd).

This will impact all HQ services including e-mail, reflectors, Logbook of the World, Seibel and the ARRL E-store. E-mail will be queued for delivery when the network is brought back on-line. Access to the ARRL web site from outside the building will not be affected. We will be posting notices on the appropriate sites prior to Friday night.

While this represents a significant step in the project, they may be other times in the future where we have to take the network off line but will provide prior notification before any shutdown.
