Tom Abernathy may know WAY more about this, but I was told years ago that many Walmart’s across the country allow overnight camping. This was apparently the philosophy of the founder, Sam Walton.
An interesting link is here: https://www.elmonterv.com/guide/rv-rental-information/overnight-stay-information/
Not all stores allow overnight camping, but I’ll bet those that do would allow hams to operate through the night for Field Day as well as these contests.

Good stuff Dick!
