As you may recall, Joel Harrison, Rod Stafford, Paul Rinaldo, and I were planning to attend the IARU Region 3 Conference in Taipei from September 1 to 5. The Conference was to be followed by a three-day meeting of the IARU Administrative Council in the same city. Taiwan has been hit hard by SARS. As a result, the Chinese Taipei Amateur Radio League has requested that Region 3 postpone the conference and the Region 3 Directors have concurred. New dates and possibly a new venue will be announced at least four months in advance. The Administrative Council meeting has been relocated to Amsterdam but will be held on the originally scheduled dates of Septmber 6 to 8. Dave Sumner, K1ZZ
