Greetings. Attached please find my report to the Board, preparatory to the meeting next week. This report, which always (lamentably)?seems?interminably long, is even longer than usual this time.?There are many?items that are languishing at FCC that go back far enough?that newer Board members may not (and the newest Board members will not) recall the origins of them. I have left in?some of the history of some of these items. So, those of you more?familiar with?regulatory matters going back a few years?will please indulge this as an introductory?effort for the newest?Board members.? I?have?updated the status of each?issue, however, so all items discussed?in this?report?are current. The theme of this report, as you will note when you read it, and a good one-line summary of the report, is as follows: "the work on this is done but the FCC Chairman's office is holding it up." I look forward to seeing you next week. I will be pleased to discuss any items that the Board wishes, assuming that this report is removed from the Consent Agenda. 73, Chris W3KD Christopher D.
