[arrl-odv:16936] Contest gavels

The Contest Branch information in the July 2 IN-News says: "I have processed all gavels for Club Competition in numerous ARRL contests going back to late 2006 and will ship them out the door today. This gets us back up-to-date on gavels." I don't recall hearing before this report that we were over a year behind in sending out contest gavels. How did that get so far out of whack? 73 - Kay N3KN
