The long-time host of the the Pacific Division Convention, PACIFICON, recently opted not to manage this year&#39;s event.&nbsp; After much discussion, Andy Oppel suggested that I contact the Emcommwest 09 organization to see if they would be interested in hosting Pacificon 2009 during their event.&nbsp; Thank you, Andy.&nbsp; They were interested, and the transition is moving ahead very smoothly and quickly.&nbsp; Only time will tell, of course, but I am optimistic.&nbsp; What follows is a brief note I sent to my Section Managers, as there were numerous rumors floating around in cyberspace.&nbsp; Wish us luck.<br>
