Ria
Amateur Radio and adverse impacts on it and actions against it or our Members is a Board responsibility. Although we are elected by a defined geographical subset of the Members, our responsibilities are not limited to those narrow geographical boundaries.
"Some" implies more than two and your question
implies knowledge of possible adverse action outside your Division. How would we deal with this, if it becomes widespread?
Words have meaning; if your inquiry is actually limited only to events and actions in your Division, but you by overly broad characterization of a local problem create the impression that The Horsemen are advancing against the known world, don't get your dander up when questioned on your representations.
The issue while we now know based on your reply appears to be a local issue, may still be worth the ARRL's efforts. The information requested remains the information needed to investigate and if necessary, to address the issue.

Some states have started restricting ham radio activity in parks. NJ is known for giving some a hard time, even those who drive in with vehicle mounted antennas, for example contest rovers. K2EZ, for example, has had issues in High Point State Park in NJ. The park rangers stated that they had concerns over safety. This despite the fact that the antennas regularly see highway speeds and have not had any issues. Now I am getting word that NYS parks is requiring a special permit for ham activations. See this: https://reflector.sota.org.uk/t/permit-required-w2-gc-020-state-park-lands/24794 NYS is likely citing this: https://parks.ny.gov/documents/inside-our-agency/PublicDocuments/GuidancePolicies/AntennasCommunicationEquipment.pdf Is there anything that the League can do to perhaps educate the state parks departments? How would we deal with this, if it becomes widespread?
