The cancellation of Visalia followed by NAB may very well presage the fate of all public gatherings of more than a few hundred people — particularly those expected to draw out-of-state and foreign visitors.
In the West Gulf, that would mean the cancellation of at least two significant hamfests between now and July.
Depending on the advance of the spread, Field Day may be at risk in those areas with confirmed outbreaks.
I wonder if Joe Taylor has a digital solution?

I believe that this show is the second-largest in the U.S., drawing 100,000 + from around the world in recent years.
I know that someone from HQ was scheduled to attend on behalf of the ARRL, as in past years.
IMHO, prospects for Dayton “are running on fumes”.
