
Hi Barry, This motion does not change that. The candidate still collects the signatures. Whether or not ARRL owns the e-sign account does not change that. The candidate still will pass around the document to be signed, and the signatures will be collected at the request of the candidate. Therefore the candidate is still collecting the signatures. I'm sorry if I misunderstood your question earlier, but the collection of signatures via electronic means by the candidate is what needs to be addressed. The rules still require all the paperwork to be completed and filed together. That's what I was suggesting when you told me that the program could produce a .pdf file to send in with the nominating package. I didn't envision the ARRL playing any role in the original collection of the signatures.
Or am I misunderstanding something?
