I asked Chris to do this. (Actually, he wanted to file an FOIA. I thought this was a better initial approach. If he gets turned down we can then make public complaint AND file an FOIA.)

At the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) last week in Las Vegas, Jill Lyon of UPLC and UTC gave a presentation on BPL. She stated, according to attendees at the presentation, that copies of the draft report had been released by Secretary Evans to Chairman Powell, and that she had reviewed the FCC copy.  She commented on the substance of the report, indicating that she had in fact reviewed a copy.

As General Counsel for the American Radio Relay League, Incorporated, I would be similarly interested in reviewing a copy of the report without delay. Please let me know if it would be possible for me to come in Monday afternoon to review the report and what arrangements might be made to do this.

I have learned recently that the BPL folks have already seen the NTIA report, and the comment was: "Nothing we can't like with."

It is my understanding that the FCC was the ones that showed it to them. Chris, how about a little G-2 next week. Also as you will remind me, April 1st is close and I am looking forward to the "inside" phone call.
