When I became the Director, Kermit sent me his Excel file of Assistant Directors. And those on the list are still Asst Directors. There are twenty of them. I plan to send an e-mail to all of them to see if they want to continue in this position. And ask some
of them "what have you done?"
I had one Asst Director complain to me that a hamfest didn't have an ARRL rep. I asked him why he didn't help out, being an Asst Director. No response. 😀 😀 😀
I also remember that Dale WA8EFK eliminated all his Asst Directors.

In the course of normal housekeeping after board elections, Mike Walters brought to my attention that there are currently over 300 Assistant Directors identified in the system. Some of the designations go back to the 1970’s.
I have asked Mike to please give each of you the list of Assistant Directors currently designated for your division. Please annotate the list for any edits, including deletions and additions and return to Mike for processing.
