Thanks, Frank. I should have noted that this feature was added as a result of your request last week. I just took a quick look and it looks good and seems to fill the bill. I am very pleased to see that you have added (or Jon has) the Congressman's name to the district number. It is sometimes easier to remember the name rather than the district. Great feature! Also it has only the congressman for that part of the state in the Hudson Division. Four directors who share states are going to be very happy about that. This will enable directors or those volunteers working in the program to specifically target those important Tier One and Tier Two congressmen. The next thing we want to do is get a motioned passed to clone a few more Jon Blooms. In addition he is a Nikon user. 73 de Frank...N2FF..... Sumner, Dave, K1ZZ wrote:
A new feature is now available to directors on the "Send Email to Division" page of the ODV section of the Web site.
The page now includes a box where you can elect to send the message you entered to:
1) All members in the Division. This is the default, and it works just like it always has, sending the message to all members of the Division who are signed up for Division/Section e-mail.
2) Members in the Division whose mailing addresses are in a selected state or states. Again, only those signed up for Division/Section e-mail will receive the message.
3) Members in the Division whose addresses are in a selected Congressional district or districts. Again, only those signed up for Division/Section e-mail will receive the message.
Note that if you select state(s) or Congressional district(s), only members who live in those areas and who also are in your Division will receive the e-mail. This ensures that members only receive messages over the signature of their own Director.
As has been the case with Division emails, messages will be reviewed here prior to release to prevent messages being sent in error.
Shortly we will be providing some text for messages on H. Res. 230 to members in the targeted Congressional districts.
The new feature is fairly self-explanatory, but directors who have questions should feel free to ask Jon Bloom, cc to me.

P.S. Rev, the system now has WS7W along with the other 324 members in Wyoming. The other single-district states are also fixed.
