[arrl-odv:16224] Coy is OK

I talked to Coy Day a few minutes ago. He wasn't hit as hard by the ice this time as the folks in Oklahoma City -- he has no Internet access for now and doesn't expect it be restored for another day or two, but he has power intermittently and has a generator. The only damage to his antennas that he knows of is that he's lost one element from the log periodic and one of his 160-meter wires. Apparently hams in Oklahoma City have lost towers, not just antennas. So if you're waiting for an email from Coy you'll have to wait a while, but otherwise he says he's in good shape. 73, Dave K1ZZ
