Good points Jay and Ria. I would not be opposed to a motion on this potential problem. I have been getting several inquires from concerned members across Delta Division on this topic. We also have a similar issue that has cropped up in VK-ZL land as well; hence members are getting a little unsettled over this. In fact, last night at a PBARC meeting three members asked me about the 2m issue in France and Australia. Not many members will read the IAVP Report. Adoption of the motion would show the Board is aware of the concerns raised by the French proposal and ARRL is prepared to act as soon needed.
