Just to clarify, I for one had no intention of responding to Courson. I'm still trying to figure out (using as little energy as possible) the presumed logic behind his convoluted message. Members, the Reason ARRL is! -----Original Message----- From: Joel Harrison [mailto:w5zn@arrl.org] Sent: Tuesday, February 21, 2006 4:25 PM To: arrl-odv Subject: [arrl-odv:13742] Correspondence from Outside Your Division Some of you (maybe all of you in different formats) have received an email from Paul Courson, WA3VJB. I just want to restate that none of you owe Mr. Courson a response save Director Bill Edgar, as Mr. Courson is a member (until Feb 28, 2006) of the Atlantic Division. Response to correspondence from members (or non-members) outside your division can complicate things for the representative director, and it has been a very long standing position of the board, even in the days of "regular mail" before mass communication email arrived, that these matters are to be left to the appropriate Director. Bill can do as he so chooses with the email. Thank you for your understanding. 73 Joel W5ZN
