Former Oregon station owner Rep. Greg Walden will lead the pivotal House
Energy and Commerce Communications, Technology and the Internet
Subcommittee when the Republicans take control next month. The
subcommittee has oversight of the FCC and most issues impacting
broadcasters. Walden disclosed the news via Twitter using Morse Code
this afternoon. "Just the ham radio operator in me having fun," he told
