Now just the wait for this allocation to be added to the Radio Regulations. Hopefully the FCC will move faster than “the speed of government” to implement the allocation!
In the meantime, more DIY action to be ready for our first contact in the new allocation!

The 472-479 kHz secondary allocation to the amateur service was adopted in Plenary this morning and approved on both first and second reading. Needless to say, the IARU team is pleased and greatly relieved.
