I did forward Rick's e-mail to both Jim Fenstermaker, K9JF, and Dr. Woolweaver, K5RAV of the ARRL Foundation. Jim Tiemstra was on the Foundation board as well, and a member of K9JF's Scholarship Committee with the Foundation. I did not send it to anybody else on the Foundation board.

I'm still in shock.....

I meant this response in shock to Rick’s news to us, not to your question Mike.

Wow.  Can this be shared? Jim and I have a few common friends in the contesting community that I would like to inform.

I have some very sad news. I just received a call from Kristen, K6WX, to inform me that our colleague Jim Tiemstra, K6JAT, has passed away.

I don't have any further information but will let you know when more is available.

Please keep Lilah and the family in your thoughts and prayers.
