We have lukewarm adoption here, and the section managers are pleading with people to use it. Ria N2RJ On Mon, Jan 6, 2020 at 9:36 PM Michael Ritz <w7vo@comcast.net> wrote:
Very few ARES units here in the NW Division will have *anything* to do with ARES Connect. Some whole states refuse to use the system until it's made easier to use, and the League addresses data security concerns that so far have been unanswered.
I'll send an e-mail to Ken Bailey in the morning. Thanks!

I have a group in the NW Division HamWAN arena that want to craft a comment to the FCC regarding recent threats to the 5 and 9 cm amateur bands. One of the drafters has asked me to provide the total equivalent dollar value of EmComm services the ARES program provides the general public as part of their argument. I know I've seen a number thrown around somewhere in the past, but I'm at a loss to figure out where I saw it. Anybody remember, or can point me to where I can find that value?
Thanks!
