Happy New Year all! What a BLAST! On and off I logged around 170 calls. I started the night at 00:00 Z with W1AW/4 (Dennis K7BV) and just kept going. Broke for the ball drop in Times Square (tv, of course. Only nutty kids freeze their rears off in town). Came back after midnight to work W100AW. Running like a contest, but spending time to chat with members calling in, is a real pleasure. Also worked K3KN, K5UR, K1ZZ, K0CA, K9JF, WY7FD and WY7KRA, W1HQ, and 100, /4, and /8 various bands and modes. Saw cluster posts for K5UZ and N5ZGT but missed both of them.
