27 JUN 2011 - 1635 CDT

My faith in our legal system was finally restored earlier today.  The jury
in the federal retrial of impeached Illinois Governor Rod Blagoevich found
him guilty on 17 of the 20 counts.  Below is the count-by-count tally
published by the Chicago Tribune at 2:30 PM CDT today.  Looks like he will
be spending several years in a (white collar) federal jail prison.

FYI, the jury consisted of eleven women one man.  It was one woman who
deadlocked the previous jury on all but one of the counts.
