Quick update, our United States Congress's newest ham radio operator has been issued his callsign. Representative Steve Pearce (R, NM-2) is KG5KIQ.
New Mexico Section Manager Ed James KA8JMW and I have been visiting with him about everything from HF radios to HTs and upgrading to General class. It'll be great to hear him on the air and work with him and his staff going forward.
