Through an oversight, the Programs and Services Committee did not present one of its recommendations to the Board at last week’s meeting. In accordance with Article 6, the Executive Committee has authorized a mail vote of the Board on the following:

MOVED, that the ARRL Board of Directors selects Rudy Severns, N6LF, as the recipient of the 2009 Doug DeMaw, W1FB, Technical Excellence Award for his article series “Experimental Determination of Ground System Performance,” which was published in the January/February, March/April, May/June, July/August, November/December issues of QEX, QST’s sister publication for experimenters.
