Hello All -
As noted on odv last week by John Stratton and Chris Imlay,
the FCC has accepted an STA for a grant to Texzon to operate a surplus
50kw Nautel AM broadcast transmitter on 1710-1900 kHz to demonstrate
the use of "Zenneck" waves to facilitate the possibility of power transmission
world-wide without wires ala Nickolas Tesla. The STA states an ERP of
100 watts of emission with 10 Hz bandwidth with a proprietary "probe" antenna
that will excite only Zenneck waves with no Norton ground waves.
The outrageous claims by Texzon should start paying large dividends
now that they have their STA application for their demonstration of Zenneck waves.
Late last year a un-related pair of physicist claimed that they could observe the long-fabled
Zenneck waves in dielectric slabs at 625nm (laser), the electric fields would be
indistinguishable from normal waveguide modes in their laboratory
set-up without significant mathematical dexiterity in the analysis.
Despite the conventional understanding of electromagnetic theory
Texzon claims a "new paradigm in physics" to transmit power anywhere
in the world without wires - I think the real power will be to separate
gullible investors from their hard-earned cash... more on that
can be found here;
In the mean-time it looks as if the STA will operate around and
in 160 meters with essentially CW at 100 w ERP.
