That’s really sad news. I enjoyed the podcast thoroughly and I’m sure many others have. But I understand that he has been having health  issues, as he was sounding not too well on the show.

Maybe someone else can pick it up. We have many people with talent out there. Would be a shame to lose it.

the Doctor is In podcast will be distributed on Thursday, December 19.
Joel Hallas’s health has continued to decline and it is becoming
increasingly difficult for him to participate. Joel will, however,
continue to write the Doctor is In column for QST for as long as he is
able. The podcast archive will remain on the ARRL website at
www.arrl.org/doctor.

In the first quarter of 2020 we will be launching new podcasts designed
to appeal to our increasing stratified membership. Details will be
provided as they become available.
