I am being copied on emails of member issues scraped from internet posts going between board members suggesting they can help get issues solved at HQ.

We’re a small company.  This isn’t rocket science.  As you point out, you’ve been forwarding to the most likely staff member to solve the issue.  And it gets solved.  But if in doubt, issues should be sent to me so they go to the right person for solving.

Thanks.

David

"scraping issues off the internet".

I don't exactly understand what you are referring to here. I get phone call and e-mail complaints and issues all the time from members, and I always try to figure out who at HQ would be the person to handle the issue/complaint, then I send them there. If I can't figure it out, then I send usually send them to Bob Naumann, the guy who oversees operations.

The only time I send stuff you you is if I feel that you need to know member's reactions to what ARRL is doing under your direction, such as the recent YL that complained about the Gil cartoon on the "3 year renewal" mug

Am I reading that you would prefer that we just send everything to you, and you will figure out who will solve the problem?

I have recently seen twice now where board members are scraping issues off the internet and circulating them to everyone BUT the person who should be receiving them.

Please forward member concerns directly to me so that I can task the people inside HQ to solve them.

Thanks.

David
