Brian, I will pass your query along to John. One was filed on 3 Jan so I wouldn't have expected to see it in Chwat's latest report, but the other was filed back in mid-December. I know Chwat compiles his legislative reports from a database and keyword searches. What I'm curious about is (a) when old legislation is typically flushed from the database he uses, (b) if his staff is able to review data from the database and flush old information discovered before dropping it into our reports, and (c) what the typical lead time is between when legislation is filed in a given state and when it appears in the database he uses to compose these reports. I'd appreciate John spending a few minutes on this at the meeting and would be happy to introduce the topic.
