Petition for Reconsideration

Tomorrow you will receive a proposal from the EC that we file a petition for reconsideration of the FCC's 80 meter expansion. What will be presented to you is a petition to limit the expansion down to 3635 KHz. The details will be contained in the memo you will receive. In addition, we will also propose to petition for a temporary stay of the 80 meter expansion down to 3635 KHz. Please review the memo ASAP and ask any questions you may have or put fourth any discussion items you have and then indicate your "aye" or "nay" for the proposal. The attached cartoon properly sums up ARRL's position in this matter, however I strongly believe a petition for reconsideration is the right thing to do. 73 Joel W5ZN
