Jim,

The BPL database lists Duke Energy in several Zip codes in the Charlotte area. These have been small trials to evaluate different vendors. According to Ambient, they have a contract to supply hardware to Duke Energy but the news releases about it have talked about Smart Grid network management, not consumer broadband.

Dave,

Dave,

With no apparent publicity about BPL by Duke Energy (they bought Cinergy) in Cincinnati, I keep waiting for the we’re-shutting-down shoe to drop here as well.  Am I correct that Duke does have consumer-oriented BPL elsewhere in the corporation?

Jim
