This past Saturday morning I attended the Sussex County Techfest in Georgetown, DE.  Certainly nicer weather in Delaware than back home in northern Pennsylvania.

One presentation that caught my eye and that I attended was, “Return to Kosovo”, a presentation given by Bernie McClenny, W3UR.

Bernie had a PowerPoint presentation of their recent DXpedition to Kosovo and had some very good pictures of the county, people, Kosovo’s independence celebrations, and of their DXpedition group.   

It was interesting to see several pictures of former ARRL staff member, Wayne Mills in the DXpedition group photos.

Bernie made one comment during his presentation that CQ Magazine recognized this DXpedition for DX credit and that his group was still working with ARRL on it being recognized by ARRL for DXCC credit.  One person in the audience asked if RSGB recognized this DXpedition for credit and Bernie mentioned that he wasn’t certain of that. 

There were no comments made about this group’s campaign to contact the Directors or Dave Sumner to change the rules.

Approximately 8 people were in attendance for this presentation.

His presentation was enjoyable and well presented.
