Following the surgery on my right hand last Friday I have been sporting a bandage the size of a soccer ball (slight exaggeration, but only slight). This morning the bandage was removed and replaced with a light dressing on two fingers and palm. I'm also supposed to wear a splint on the two fingers to keep the little finger from wanting to curl up again, but even with the splint on I have some use of the hand again. With it off I can type almost normally (normal for me, that is --I've never used all 10 fingers anyway).

There's still a few months of healing and rehab ahead, but it's looking pretty good so far. Thanks for all of the good wishes.
