Two items of interest in today's FCC releases.
On the regulatory front, you already know that Expert Linears has petitioned for rulemaking to remove the 15 dB amplification limit for external power amplifiers. They are also seeking a waiver of the limit during the pendency of the rulemaking. The FCC
seeks comment on that waiver request in a separate proceeding, with a comment date of August 29.
On the enforcement front, the Commission has assessed a $1000 forfeiture against David Tolassi, further to an NAL issued last year. The forfeiture is assessed for failure to identify on 14.313 MHz.
