Hi,
If this works out (and I have no reason to believe that it won't), let's
not forget the Section Managers. They get more questions about the
location and availability of ham classes and tests than anyone else in
the organization.

Hi,
FYI,
We just reached a
co-marketing agreement with these folks from
HamTestOnline. This is more of
a strategic move for us than an economic one, since we have no equivalent
on-line, interactive training package in our product mix.
This is an easy and fun way to study for a
new or upgrade a
current license.
The business agreement is that
in exchange for our promotion of their
product, we
will
receive a small amount of money for each new
subscriber that they add each month.
We
will
also
receive
a lot of promotion on their site to
reach folks
upgrading their license and
potential new licensees. I consider
this a win-win for both of us.
I am forwarding a special offer to everyone
on the Board from HamTestOnline. We
have also made this offer
to our employees.
If anyone tries this service, Bob and I
would be curious about what you think of it. Let me know if you
have any questions.

Subject: ARRL and HamTestOnline / Free Subscriptions
In April, ARRL established a partnership with
HamTestOnline™. The company offers online training for the U.S. Amateur
Radio written exams. In the coming months, you'll begin to see this
online product mentioned where we advertise other license training
products available from ARRL. We're hopeful that HamTestOnline will enjoy
a successful place among ARRL's suite of training products.
HamTestOnline has extended a free subscription to ARRL
staff and board members. We'd like to encourage anyone who is
planning for a new license or upgrade to take advantage of this free
subscription offering. Others may want to gain access to the free
subscription to familiarize themselves with this product as we all begin
to promote its availability.
The free subscription code is limited to staff and board
members. You must also use a login email address that ends in
@arrl.org.
If you'd like to take advantage of this free subscription,
please contact Jean Wolfgang
(
jwolfgang@arrl.org). Jean will issue your
subscription code, and provide you with first-time login
instructions.
