Thanks Bill
As an EC, my group had been more active than any time in the recent past assisting the EMA with day to day duties and coordinating activities at testing sites and monitoring and reporting on all local and regional briefings to allow the EMA staff to tend to more critical things.
See you soon, I hope.

Subject: [arrl-odv:30351] Former FEMA Director Craig Fugate Emphasizes Importance of Emergency Communications During Pandemic
Dear ODV Members:
Those of us who were on the board when Tom Gallagher was CEO will recall his story about how former FEMA Director Craig Fugate, KK4INZ, a current ARRL member, approached him at Orlando Hamcation offering to help ARRL anyway he can.
This is a hyperlink to remarks Mr. Fugate made to The Hill yesterday on the importance of emergency communications during the current pandemic. Although he doesn’t mention Amateur Radio by name, the implications are clear.
https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/499477-craig-fugate-emergency-communications-will-be-the-next-challenge-of-covid Mr. Fugate wrote this article as an Op ed opinion piece, clearly with the intent to stimulate discussion and preparation, and did so on a website aimed at government officials..
