Hello to all,

The Buehler Challenger Center in Paramus NJ with its multiple other Challengers Centers around the US has the date scheduled for their ARISS contact: Thu 2022-07-28 16:14:08 UTC.

 I'm told that each CLC is running week-long STEM camps right now.  Some, for 3 weeks in a row.  Some CLCs' web pages show they have been doing hybrid activities--in-person and online.  Attached is the draft of the news release; the PR team will insert the date and release number and then distribute it soon. I've forwarded this Word document to all pertinent Directors/Vice Directors/SMs.

Buehler selected a day/time that results in the Australian ARISS radio telebridge station supporting this radio contact.  News reporters and students are always delighted with our ARISS Aussy team mate's accent and learning about his amateur radio relay operation.  Sometimes that is a big part of a news reporter's story!

These groups are now at work completing an equipment plan that will be acceptable to ARISS--their plan must demonstrates their ability to execute the ham radio contact. Once their equipment plan is approved by the ARISS Technical Mentors, the groups will be scheduled for a contact during July through December as their availability and flexibility match up with scheduling opportunities offered by NASA.
