Please share this reminder message with ODV. Event registration forms (attached) should be returned to me as quickly as possible. The deadline is today, Monday March 7…but by Wed would be helpful. We’d like to begin to commit hotel rooms, order exhibitor badges and shirts, and gauge attendance figures for some additional event planning (particularly Plano).
Also (overlooked in the original invitation), for ARRL officials traveling with a spouse or partner, please include a note if you’d like us to include them in our planning (exhibitor’s badges, shirts and lunches).

Planning is underway for ARRL’s participation at the following events:
· May 20-22 - Dayton Hamvention
· June 10-11 - ARRL National Convention at Ham-Com in Plano, Texas
These events make the most of many staff, officials and volunteers to be successful. Help us get these events off to a successful start by communicating your plans for support. The attached form will help us organize room reservations, badges, apparel and staffing for these events. Please complete the form, save it, and send a copy back to Bob Inderbitzen, email expo@arrl.org. Return the form by Monday, March 7, 2011. Even if your plans are not entirely committed, please respond with your tentative information so we can develop rough counts for hotel bookings.
Gail Iannone will use the forms to make hotel reservations as part of ARRL’s rooming blocks at the following hotels:
· Dayton - Baymont Inn & Suites, 8110 Troy Pike, Huber Heights, OH 45424 (I-70 at St Rd 202 at Exit 36)
· Plano - Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites, 700 Central Pkwy E, Plano, TX 75074
There is a place on the form to include the ARRL booth, activity or program you will be supporting (or would like to support). This information will be shared with staff “team leaders” responsible for each of these activities.
Please note: ARRL Directors may be reimbursed for National Convention travel expenses (this year’s Plano event) from their Division budgets. Vice Directors attending a National Convention are not eligible for reimbursement (with the exception of the local Vice Director).
