Following up on Jim Weaver’s note, shortly after the Bandwidth site on the web came online I sent a Division email outlining the Bandwidth proposal and directing folks to the web site for a complete explanation. Other than one response warning me that I was going to get a lot of negative comments and one member who said we are all tools of Dave Sumner, all the remaining responses (about a dozen) have been positive. A few folks would like to see a tweak or two but nothing significant.

 

Even so I’ll bet the reaction would have been much different if we had filed the petition first.
