Your understanding may be correct, Tom, but the fact is that when I spoke with one of the candidates in late February, he was unaware of its provisions. Once he read through them, he almost dropped out of the race.
Perhaps it would be more accurate to say . . . “they did not appear to be aware of the contents of the Code of Conduct.”

I'm told the three candidates were sent information on the newly adopted policy a few weeks after the January Board meeting by the assistant secretary.
