All ARRL Managers & IT Staff,
We have just been notified that AT&T will be performing disruptive maintenance on our Internet circuit on Tuesday, August 22 between Midnight and 6:00 AM.
This means that all internet access to 225 Main street will be out during that time.
This also means that the VPN connection between 225 Main Street and our public website (www.arrl.org) will be down. As well as individual VPN connections to the facility
Orders, email, and website lookups that rely on any systems at HQ will be affected.
Please make any necessary notifications and plans prior to this service interruption.
Timing of this service interrupt is not under our control.
Please note: Many times these are precautionary notices. While there is a 6 hour maintenance window, the last time AT&T performed maintenance like this we were only down for something like a minute or two. However, there is no way to predict what will occur so we need to be prepared to be out for the entire time.
Please contact me with any questions.
Thanks,
Dave
